THIS WEBSITE IS CURRENTLY UNDER RECONSTRUCTION
Thank you for visiting my website. I am a Sound Artist, Composer and Researcher and have been living in Edinburgh for the last year.
I come from a performance/composition background and in 2010 gained a BA(hons.) Music Composition from Dartington College of Arts.
I am an advocate of conscious listening, projects that involve the community or are reliant on the voluntary sector and am involved in a multitude of projects including:
Edinburgh LETS where I have been elected as Head of Promotions, Working as an Intern with the Noise Abatement Society, and being given the task of revitalising a group dedicated to Teaching Listening in Schools, set up by Julian Treasure of The Sound Agency (For whom i worked as a research assistant on the 2nd ed. of his book Sound Business earlier this year.)
I was selected to give a discussion topic at the 2011 World Forum for Acoustic Ecology conference in Corfu on the subject of Contemporary Urban Soundscape Design, and presenting an installation at this year's Embodied Values conference in Edinburgh: SENSORY WORLDS: Environment, Value and the Multi-Sensory.
In 2012 i am looking forward to further developing Audio Spring,and studying for a Diploma in Acoustics with the Institute of Acoustics
